I purchased this to go along with a new whirlpool range and it’s absolutely beautiful and works just as good as it looks. The fan is very powerful on the high setting and does a great job ventilating the kitchen I would highly recommended it. Only thing I wish they had, and they may but I haven’t been able to find it, is an option to use halogen bulbs instead of LED bulbs in the hood. All my lighting is the Edison bulb style and then you have this bright crisp blue led on the range hood that doesn’t match the other lighting in the kitchen and I am not a huge fan of the really bright LED lighting I prefer the softer more yellow type lighting but we have gotten used to it and it’s a small gripe.

Very high quality. Only one things I would improve. 2 LED lights no do not do the job of lighting the cooktop.

LED lights do not last and are VERY expensive!!

I've had my whirlpool WVW53UC0FS1 range hood for just over one year and the LED task lights are very dim. Replacement light units are around $80 EACH. If you need the hood to have lighting, find a different product. By the way, lights are not warranty parts as they are excluded.

The hood was just installed last week....it looks great. The black stainless went well with the rest of our kitchen appliances. The filters are easy to remove and clean! It could have a few more fan speed choices, but overall looks very nice and easy to use.
