KitchenAid 48'' 6-Burner with Griddle, Dual Fuel Freestanding Range, Commercial-Style Imperial Black

We completely gutted our kitchen last November, we purchased this range to put in it. Ever since the completion of our kitchen I was in need of something to fill the gap between the back of the range and our backsplash, most ranges have a backguard or trim piece for this application. After two months we never found one and the customer service people at KitchenAid were awefull, nobody reads emails, nobody talks to each other, nobody does anything useful. I found a back guard made by Bertazonni on AJMadison.com that worked well, no thanks to the KitchenAid team. https://www.ajmadison.com/cgi-bin/ajmadison/BGH48.html . This is a $250 dollar piece though, so be prepared. You'd think a $10,000 range would come with a piece like this, or at least you'd be provided with the support to help find you one. So help me God I never need the customer service from KitchenAide again because you may as well talk to a brick wall. Highly disappointing to spend so much on a range and get so little support. Other than that- it cooks our girls' chicken nuggets like a champ and it looks good doin' it. The convection fan in the smaller oven is louder than the one in the bigger oven. Some people have stated that this is unbearable, I don't find it that intrusive at all. I could explain about what it sounds like like this: Put a weak hair blowdryer in a cardboard box, turn it on low and close the box, then walk 30' away and listen, the sound you hear from that distance is about what the small oven convection sounds like.

We purchased this range a few months ago and I’m pleased with it so far. I have not used the griddle yet but everything else works as expected.
