I bought my fridge and stove together, and choose Frigidaire as I believed that they would have been good quality.Unfortunately, the circuit board went and needed changing in just over one year, and now six months later, the stove is heating sometimes!I cannot believe how much I regret purchasing Frigidaire. I hope to get is fixed and get some more years out of it. It's practically brand new still. This Frigidaire owner recommends GE.

I bought this stove july 2017. After 1 year i had to request service 3x due to f10 and 11 code that causes oven and burners not to work. Each time it worked for 1 month and repeated the same mistake. 2 companys came to service it and the last time it was serviced after my 1 year warrenty expired was nov 2018. I didnt even have it for 1 full year before it staring malfun ctionig. Waste of money. I bought it new.

Entry-level range, probably good enough for most

This range was in my home when I bought it. I was thrilled to have a brand-new range, as I'm an avid cook and this was my first home. For a while, that was enough.Within about six months, one of the burners stopped igniting easily. It required from five to 10 seconds of tick-tick-ticking before it would finally spark and ignite with a scary FLOOM. Heating large pans for saute or browning on this stove is not terribly consistent. I was cooking chicken the other night and the thigh on one side had an internal temp that was 12 degrees higher than the thigh on the other side of the pan.The stove works reasonably well. I'm an artisan baker and baked two loaves of blue-ribbon bread in the stove. However, it's not very big and again, sometimes the temperature is inconsistent. One of the things I really don't care for with the range is that the stainless steel is basically a big metal sticker over basic black enamel. The stainless part gets gunk trapped behind it when you clean and it sometimes buckles and bends and just generally looks cheap. Overall, for the money, this is not a bad range for most home cooks. The quick boil burner is great for big pots of pasta, and the low simmer one is good for keeping things warm. But if you are more of a hobbyist who wants that extra consistency, larger oven capacity, and better quality materials, I'd recommend spending a bit more and getting something a little more robust.
