Great dryer with some dangerous design flaws

I've had my dryer for almost 2 years now, and I've had to literally save it from damage and possibly fire on several occasions. Bottom line - I'll never run this thing and leave the house. Something with the way that lint filter is designed allows it to be pulled out during the operating cycle, which allows things like socks and underwear to fall into the blower assembly. I've called customer service about this issue and they have nothing of any value to offer. I may have to personally rig a locking mechanism on the lint filter to keep it from coming out. Do a search for this issue and you'll see that I'm definitely not alone...It's a really great dryer otherwise, but this issue may force my hand to get something else sooner rather than later...

I've had my dryer for almost 2 years now, and I've had to literally save it from damage on a few occasions. The lint filter is designed such that it can be pulled from the duct assembly housing during the operating cycle, which allowed my socks to fall into and get caught in the blower wheel assembly. Luckily, I caught it in time to prevent damage on the few occasions that it has happened. Bottom line - I'll never run the dryer and leave the house. Drying & tumbling issues

I purchased this dryer in August 2019. There is a SIGNIFICANT design flaw. Items in the dryer pile up on the lint filter against the door and DO NOT dry or tumble (see 2 attached pictures. Pictures were taken while dryer was ON and tumbling). I then have to open the dryer, push the items back into the drum & turn the dryer on again...only for it to happen over and over and over again. Medium & small loads do not dry properly because they do not tumble in the dryer. The ONLY way to get the clothes to evenly dry or tumble is to overload or only dry large loads in the dryer. Only drying LARGE loads is the ONLY way to help knock off the pieces of clothing that have stacked up on the top of the dryer filter during a cycle, so they will tumble with the rest of the load. This is a potential overheating & fire hazard.

Great dryer if you're not afraid of fire

We want to love this thing, but I would not recommend anyone buy it who doesn't want anxiety and stress when drying clothes. Why? Because the lint trap unit comes out during a cycle and a) rips apart your clothes and b) sucks your clothes down into the blower fan, stressing the motor and causing a fire hazard. Don't believe me? Google will show you what I mean. For me, "service" meant pulling my socks out of the blower fan (now with fins all chewed up) and ordering a new lint unit. A month later, out she comes again. I'm less angry about having to use the laundromat and more angry over the risk of my house burning down.

Garbage!!!!
