Bought a Amana NGD4600YQ2 gas dryer in November 2016 from an actual appliance store, not the box box store. And 15 months later it will not heat up. The repair person has been here 3 times trying to diagnose the problem without any results; he now is saying it may not be worth fixing. A 15 month old dryer is not worth fixing!!!!!!!!!! Why would anyone ever buy anything made by Amana with this kind of track record? Don't waste your money.

I rent a towngome and our ancient dryer finally died out. It did the job well until finally it kept tripping the circuit every 10 mins... Called the landlord and he got a brand new Amana dryer. Was pretty excited thinking I would have laundry again! Boy was I wrong. I have to dry 1/3 of my load at a time, and it STILL doesn't dry jeans or towels, or anything thick really... Hate this!

I had to leave my old amana washer and dryer at my old house but decided i loved the product that i wanted it in my new home! I got a dryer and a washer almost a year ago. I love both of them! I'm happy that the dryer is big enough to do comforters and has many different settings. The dryer is quite and isn't expensive to use. Love that the lint catcher is on the top of the dryer.
