For my 8 room B&B, I replaced my 12 year old frigidaire dryer with this one and its like night and day. Drying time much reduced, and the automatic dryness sensing works wonders on my energy bill. By the way, a friend gave me a 4 year old Whirlpool Duet front loading washer, to match this, that she had used in her commercial laundry for 4 years 3 times a day before retiring and closing her laundry. It is running like a top and also providing easy use and great energy savings as well. I did my research and found Whirlpool to have the lowest repair rate of all manufacturers. Very happy with both of my new Whirlpool machines.

Dryer seams nice had warranty claim too soon

I bought this a couple of months ago and had to have warranty clame. The felt that the drum rides on in the front of the drum came off and the drum was ridding on the front panel of the dryer causing the porslin to be worn off the drum. The tech had to make 2 trips after i called the claim in 1 to come and see what i called in and check and order parts 2nd to install part. Afet my explanation as a mechanic of what was wrong i dont understand why they cant come with the felt, was told it had to be ordered. Lost machine for 2 weeks. Poor Quality Control not enough glue on the felt/drum Poor quality control not enough glue on felt

So far so great. I bought this dryer about a month ago. Install was easy and it performs far better than the my other brand dryer. Very pleased and highly recommend.

Great dryer for regular use and even heavy loads. Only issue is sensitive buttons and knob which turn on when bumped in a tight space.
