Features:
  • 3.6 cu. ft. Capacity - Wash more in a single load with our largest-capacity top-load washer at 3.6 cu. ft.
  • Load Size Options - Wash smaller loads without the guilt. Up to four water level choices, depending on model, allow you to match water used to load size, helping reduce water waste.
  • 9 Wash Cycles - With 9 different wash cycles to choose from, you'll be able to care for it all, from delicate items to towels.
  • 700-RPM Max Spin Speed - Drying begins in the washer. Spin speeds of up to 700 RPM help remove water from clothes so they take less time to dry.
  • Porcelain Wash Basket - A smooth porcelain surface resists scratches and odors, unlike plastic tub models, protecting fabrics from snags. Speckled gray color makes it easy to spot small items like white socks.

Keep up with the weekly laundry. With 3.6 cu. ft. of capacity, Amana® top load washers give you more than enough room for fewer loads every week. Meanwhile, you can wash your clothes guilt-free with up to four water level choices to help reduce water waste. Our washers are made of a smooth porcelain surface to resist scratches and odors and spin at speeds of up to 700 RPM to help remove water from your clothes for faster drying. Let the washer take care of your extra delicate items now with the Hand Wash cycle. Then see where your delicates are in the cleaning process thanks to the indicator lights on the cycle status bar.

Bought this a few months ago and hate it. It doesn't put enough water in to get all the clothes wet. Tried only putting a small armful of clothes in it. That didn't help any. It just puts less water in it then as it auto fills. And if you actually had clothes that got dirty with actual dirt it doesn't clean them. Another California invention, the water saver. Doesn't save much water when you need to wash them several times. It doesn't rinse all the soap out. Tried using half the recommend amount of soap and switching brands to. But that didn't help. I've had other Amana products and bean happy with them. But not this one.

never again

I bought this machine last year and I WISH I send it back! What a piece of "made in gloves" waste. When rinse cycle comes on, pulls in the water, when finish it drains-no washing! I have to put to rinse and spin cycle again! When it's taking water, now warm now cold switching back and forth, making banging sound. And NO none of my previous machines did that. And NO I am not using too much soap. The only excuse for this waste of a product is just that-BAD DESIGN and waste of my money!

Serouisly, it's only barely luke warm. Actually more to the cold side. I have to let it run on hot to fill half way up and then switch to warm if I want any oily or greasey spots to come out. It fills with cold water for 45 seconds then switches to hot for 10 seconds, can hardly expect it to be warm.
