Run away from Electrolux

I could write a novel on how horrible these appliances are! The fridge is now 10 years old and the condenser went. Not repairable. I've had too many service calls to count including at least 6 on the ice maker which never worked and still doesn't. Rust on freezer shelving, cracked plastic on the freezer door edge, wouldn't hold temp. And that is just the refrigerator! We started with 4 all new Electrolux appliances when we remodeled and will have only the disheashwer left which also is horrible. Takes all day to wash, 3 pumps were replaced and doesn't get the dishes clean even with pre-washing. Horrible expensive junk. I've contacted them too, no resolution. Stay far away!!!

A lot of rust and gaskets dead after a few years.

I bought this model (EI27BS16JS6) 7 years ago. Rust is everywhere, and gaskets are completed dead.

I have owned this refrigerator for 9 years. It has been nothing but a problem. The ice maker is garbage. I've lost count of how many times it has been replaced. It has rust in the freezer too. The refrigerator doesn't cool evenly.

Just received our new frig. So elegant and stylish. love the functions and drawers. Seems to be well made quiet. Our old refigerator was so noisy this is a nice change. i like that the shelves glide forward for easy access. We love this frig

Cheap Plastic Trim

We bought this fridge about 3 years ago. It has lots of room and keeps everything cool. The problems with it are that the plastic trim is breaking off and to fix it they want you to buy a whole new drawer. (see photo) It is visible when the drawer is closed. For the price you pay, there should not be cheap plastic used on the exterior of this appliance. Once the ice maker fills up, the ice spills out the back when you open the freezer drawer and it is not easy to get out. Also, if you take the ice tray out and do not put it back just right, the ice maker will not turn back on.
