Completely unsatisfied Maytag client!

I remodeled my kitchen 2 years ago and replaced all appliances to give it a modern look. All my appliances were Maytag and had zero issues before hand. The refrigerator started working out great with a couple small issues that I was able to rectify myself. Now the top half of the refrigerator has stopped cooling. The freezer and middle compartment were cool for a few days after but seemed to have stopped working as well. Called and I was told a 1year warranty on the refrigerator is all it has and 10 year on the compressor. Just 2 years after purchase and this $2200 paper weight has stopped working?!?! When I called in they told me there was only one company in the area that would fix it. I have already had to get Maytag involved on their microwave that has broken in the same short span. The company that they first set with an appointment emails with less then 24hrs notice and changes the appointment when I have already scheduled a time off from work to be a morning appointment, telling me that it has to be in the afternoon. That's not kosher to me on how you do business. At this point it looks like I'm getting rid of all my Maytag appliances and going with a better company that doesn't break in a short time span and then will service properly.

Ice maker has already quit 2 years and 2 months after ownership. The spring loaded sealing strip between the doors doesn't spring back. Every time you open the left refrigerator door you have to manually flip it back. The wheels on the rolling drawer in the freezer roll so poorly that they drag and squeal every time you open the freezer door.Hey what do you expect for thousands of dollars?!?! Our Maytag microwave is already having problems as well. Oh yeah, I recently replaced my new Maytag washer with a Speed Queen, which is engineered by people who actually care about thier products. Try to get something warranted by Maytag, lol. We spent almost $10k outfitting our new home, Maytag will never see another dime. What a joke all of these appliances are!

Bought this about 5 months ago. Excellant refrigerator. Freezer will not keep ice cream frozen hard. Foods are no problem.

Great design and layout. Fits a lot and I love the middle drawer. Only issue is the water filter is loud.
