Great features-horrible ice maker

i love the sleek look, counter depth and unique features but i have to say its a hard pass. we are returning this fridge .the ice maker is the deal breaker. we have contacted samsung for reset/repairs even geek squad at best buy. i even had a samsung rep say if i am that unhappy i should return the fridge, which is what we are doing. the ice maker fills one tumbler a day. for the money, it is a huge disappointment. after having so much trouble, i read many reviews about this terrible ice maker. if you want to go back to ice cube trays maybe this will work for you. reviews going back a few years report issues so i guess i can assume samsung has chosen not to correct the problem.

purchased this refrigerator (fingerprint resistant version) after closing on my new home 2 years ago. nice looking refrigerator that is not fingerprint resistant. had issues with the inside water jug and ice maker. water jug kept developing mold and mildew. had to shut it off and stop using it. as for the ice maker, after about 1.5 years, the ice started clogging and every time I tried to get ice, water would come down first. ice built up towards that back of the ice compartment. I would not recommend this appliance. I recently sold the home and gave appliances to new owners! I do not think I will be considering another samsung appliance!

We have owned this a few months now and just love it. The smooth surface is great as I have a smaller kitchen and handles are just one less thing in the way. The space inside is great and can accommodate a lot of different foods for the whole family. We also really like the internal water fill accessory. Its really nice to have flavored fresh and cool water at your fingertips.

I've had this 8 months. Only 1 issue, one day, after getting home after a few days, the fridge was 37*, and the freezer was 67*, and had to throw all our frozen food away. Unplugged for 5 minutes, plugged back in, been fine for a month now.
