don't buy this. we paid many times to fix the ice maker. they fixed the refrigerator many times for different problems. they also build a lot of ice in the back. i paid too much to repair it. it looked like i bought three new refrigerators to pay for the repair. avoid samsung

the refrigerator, in theory, is a great idea. its beautiful, handy with the monitor functions featured on the door, but it lacks reliability. the ice machine will work some; it'll develop ice and seizes up after a few load or two of ice. you will have to remove the ice box, blow dry the build up, and restart the ice making system. we've owned it for 3 years now and then the coil leaked. i had the coil replaced and refrigerant recharged. worked again for a few days then now the compressor is locked and inverter board fails. so i'm in this dilemma of whether i should continue to dump money in this refrigerator or replace it with something more reliable. i just hope those that are reading my review be warned not to buy this specific model.... you'll be in for a headache.

samsung provides neither quality or customer service! i purchased a refrigerator in 2018 and it was troublesome from the beginning. after a number of service requests and in 2021, after the warranty expired, the refrigerator was declared "non-repairable." i was offered a "partial refund." in trying to get my refund, i have experienced nothing but confusing responses, lack of response and no service!

the worst refrigerator i've ever used. shelves are made of low-quality plastic. the ice maker is constantly covered with ice and stops working every 5,6 days. the shelves break from a light load. also shelves are formed so that there is no access to wash them on their edges. customer service does not value the company's reputation, does not cooperate with people. from my own bad experience, i recommend not to spend money on low-quality samsung refrigerators !!!

Touch screen is not reliable and stops working

the touch screen stopped working just after 1.5 yr. smartly the product carries 10 yrs compressor warranty and the refrigerator works as usual but because all the control of the refrigerator are from touch screen, i cant update any settings. so now without the touchscreen , this refrigerator is same as one from 80s as it has fixed temperature. big disappointment on such low reliability of the premium product from top brand.
