Bought this in 2014. Had to have several parts (sealed system) replaced in December of 2017. Parts are going bad again. Same problem as last time. It’s not making ice, not cooling or keeping things frozen. Did not buy from box store. We bought from a dealer and asked for a quality product. I know this is no longer available to purchase but wanted people to be aware that whirlpool will not stand behind their products. I did not receive a sweepstakes entry for my review.

6 years old and DEAD. Didn’t even last half the life expectancy of any refrigerator. Purchased an extended warranty that ran out months before it died. But don’t worry, Whirlpool only guarantees their refrigerators work for up to 2 years. Incredibly bad customer service. NEVER BUY ANYTHING WHIRLPOOL.

After $2800 and only 6 years my freezer went out due to a failed evaporator. I’ve had 3 different repair techs out and all 3 day it’s better to purchase a new unit. Called whirlpool hoping for any sort of assistance and they would barely even hear me out. I’ve always bought there products and been happy but after the very disappointing phone call to them I will be looking at other options.

Moved into a new house and the refrigerator broke a month after I settled in. Repair man stated this is one of the worst models he sees with the issues it had and that he is constantly repairing it.

Bought this about 4 years ago. Cooling problem with the fridge after 1 year. Had to fight with Whirlpool to get them to cover repair costs. Problem with the ice maker 1 year later, with leaking water. By that time, we knew this was a piece of junk so we didn't ever bother. 1 year later, cooling problem with the freezer. Been mainly using our basement freezer ever since. Latest issue as of today, both the fridge and the freezer are warm. I was fooled once with Whirlpool but won't be fooled twice.
