A great fridge but in door ice maker stopped working - water drips from door due to melted/frozen ice. I won't buy another in door ice fridge

Compre este refrigerador hace un par de meses, desde que lo conectaron por primera vez, no enfrió ni tampoco hizo hielos. Después de varios días, fue el técnico (muy sangrón), su diagnóstico fue que no tenía carga de gas, 1 semana después le realizan la carga de gas; 1 mes después sigue sin enfriar correctamente, tampoco hace hielo. La semana pasada lo llevaron al taller autorizado, sigo sin noticias después de 6 días, sin refrigerador y con un "servicio técnico" saturado y de mala calidad.

We purchased this refrigerator about a six weeks ago. Love the extra produce compartments. The top shelve can fold so that tall items can be stored.

I bought this frig about two months ago and so far love it, normally have trouble with ice maker, but this short auger I believe is a better design. Very large frig and freezer, with all the storage just remember where to look for your items.

Should be better considering cost

Bought an entirely new Whirlpool kitchen during a remodel 2.5 years ago ($7k) (along with Cabrio laundry pair 6 years ago) because I believe in buying American-made). Icemaker suddenly stopped working. Deferred delivery because kitchen wasn't complete, but Whirlpool said warranty starts when you buy not when you take delivery. So after more than a year, still no icemaker and yes, water drips from dispenser. Great to have to have a towel to keep my hardwood dry. DIsappointed in Whirlpool-- cheaper to retain existing customers than get new customers... they must not understand that.
