TV won't stay turned off

use the remote to turn off the tv and a minute or so later it comes back on. now the remote is unresponsive for over a minute. sometimes it does this several times before the tv will stay off. we have turned it off, left the house and came home to it back on. dangerous.

One connect is poorly designed

The one connect cable is a one point of failure that causes the entire TV to be useless once this part fails. It is a thin fragile fiber optic cable that can easily break. Once it breaks replacement parts are no longer available by Samsung and finding one that will work with your TV, well good luck. Just research how many have struggled with one connect part and it causing the TV to constantly restart.

I purchased this TV (Samsung QLED Q7 75 inch) and had it installed in January 2018. In April 2019 the TV now has a vertical line running down the entire length of the TV that is actually in the board/pixels themselves. Thankfully, I purchased the $600 Best Buy extended warranty so they will be replacing it. Prior to it becoming damaged we had a good experience with this TV. The color was calibrated for bright, vibrant movies. I did not spend the extra money to have Best Buy calibrate it for darker films which I may do going forward. You really can notice a difference. The Q7 / Q70 processor is good, but you can see a lag in some things. I notice a blurriness around people. Depending on your primary use for this product, you may be happier with the Q90 processor. Overall a good TV, but you really should expect more than 15 months of damage free use out of a $3,000 TV.

I bought this TV in November of 2017. Three weeks ago it began to turn off on its own, the controller doesn't work, when it turns on it has no volume. I communicated with Samsung and today I received the connection box yet the TV still doesn't work so now I must wait two weeks to receive a new controller. Right now the controller has no batteries yet the TV continues to turn off with no specific reason. They don't want to send a technician to solve the problem and here I am watching grass grow. Samsung has turned into a problematic company with so many problems including their phones, Tv's, appliances, etc.. Ive been a samsung fan for while now and i can tell you that that TV will be the last product I buy from them.
