this was a replacement tv for our bedroom. the tv picture is fine the remote not so much. it would be nice to have a backlit remote and larger keys. in dim to no light in the room it is too easy to hit the wrong key. in time this may get better for some functions but others i fear it will always be an issue. i also feel there should be a built in screen saver. there is a function to access your cloud stored photos but i don't store photos on a cloud service. even generic screen savers would be nice to prevent burn in. it may be a minor issue but in this day and age it wouldn't be hard to add in a mid range priced tv.

the hmdi ports (both) were blocked and would not take a cable. i called for repair and they came, but it took 10 days. the repairman said it was a known problem. so the tv was broken the day it came out of the box as it couldn’t be connected to the csble box.

what i noticed first was the horrible sound quality. the downward-firing speakers are too tiny and the sound is uneven. dialog gets lost and is difficult for me to understand. i've tried all the settings and nothing works well for most broadcasts. it's weird my 10 y.o. vizio works so much better. :( second is the video quality. i stream a lot of content and often times the gradient information for shadows is solarized and pixelated. so much worse than my old tv. i'm so disappointed. i thought i was buying an improvement but didn't. now i'm out $600 and stuck with a tv that i don't really want.

the tv itself, so far, seems to be pretty nice. i i i have issues with the samsung remote and am having difficulty using it. my spectrum remote is much better. -the guide button and the ch list don't do anything on youtube tv. -the info button on my samsung remote is so small & buried that i need reading glasses to locate it, in fact most of the buttons on the samsung remote are quite small and difficult to locate. -when using youtube tv voice activated search is very helpful, but your remote doesn't seem to have that button. 2 of my friends whose remotes have this feature say it's essential in learning how to use this tv.
