i've had this tv for a couple months now, had the ks8500 model first. this model is an upgrade from the ks model, but it feels slightly lower. everything about the ks8500 brought me to smart tvs...so the transition to this one was a tad bit...meh. 4k looks spectacular, so does HDR...i don't like how they removed some of the led lights at the bottom of the tv and the back of the tv feels cheap..i do like how you can hide the wires within the stands, but that's probably the only thing i'd take from the mu model and bring to the ks model..i have both tvs. both of which are 55'.

I bought this tv the first time little under a year ago.. within 30 days had dead pixels it was exchanged and I had this tv about 7 months and now I am about to file another claim being I have a green line down the ride side of the whole tv.. I also bought a 42 inch 1080p a year and half ago and had dead pixels in that tv as well within 6 months.. it seems now on 3 tvs 2 4k tvs I have had issues within the 6-8 month mark.. very disappointed in Samsung with the tvs and how long they last.. the value for these and overall rating is horrible while design and features are great.. ao another words you made a really cool looking piece of crap in my opinion.. I think im done with Samsung purchases

This TV can produce some really awesome pictures, and at times it all goes south. 4k movies with the HDR are phenomenal, but when it comes to watching TV, most live sporting events and newer TV shows are fine, but then this mysterious 8-10" band appears vertically up the whole height of the screen and it looks horrible. When the TV has no input signal the screen should be black right? This one displays that 8-10" band in purple. I have already had just about everything replaced internally, replaced all HDMI cables troubleshooting this thing, same results. Guess I got a lemon. I was a little taken by a customer service rep forcing a survey on me when I was trying to tell her it was not fixed. She said she noted that, haven't heard anything since, about a month now. Time to start this process all over again.

Excellant picture. True to the advertisements . Color is dynamic as is the blacks. Looks excellent on the wall, near as nice as a piece of art.
